Hello, I'm Isaac and welcome to my portfolio. I am a writer/director with over 25 awards won at film festivals internationally including: Best Director, Best Horror, Best Screenplay, Best Editing and Best Indie Narrative Short.

 

I have comprehensive experience in producing, cinematography and editing as well as screenwriting and directing. I have directed 3 feature-length films including horror movie 'The Tormented', thriller movie 'Bitter Revenge' and period-piece 'A Requiem for Desire', written and produced by Sophie Karl (Sick Note, Eastenders) and starring Adam Deacon (Kidulthood, Casualty).

 

My most successful projects to date have been 'The Village' short horror film franchise, which currently includes 5 films. The franchise has been recognised at festivals all over the world and all have distinct styles between them with some taking on slasher elements while others focus more on drama or action.

Previous experience includes working for Ustreme, a comedy-based streaming channel  where I edited numerous shows as well as aid in the production of many more such as Left, Right & Centre, a political-based panel show shot in front of a live audience and Pull Up a Sandbag, a Veteran-to-Veteran chat show. I have also been a crew member on many feature films including: Slasher House 3: Rebooted, Anaconda: Death Coil, Dragon Fury 3 and many more.

 

I also have teaching experience having been the Film Production Tutor and Movie Director at Prop Box Youth Theatre for 7 years and running their weekly Film Academy. I currently work for The Pauline Quirke Academy as their Film & TV tutor.
